On November 25, the PTA presented its first annual Golden Weasel to the City Of Toronto for weaseling out of its commitment to end slum housing. After a boisterous demonstration outside City Hall demanding better housing standards, a large delegation of Parkdale tenants and activists crammed into the Mayor's office where Mayor David Miller's housing advisor, Sean Goetz-Gadon, accepted the award on behalf of the City.
